At the 2013 World Dwarf Games, singles, doubles, and mixed-doubles badminton competition will be offered in four age divisions: Junior A (7-11), Junior B (12-15), Open (any age), and Masters (35 and older). Separate events will be offered for male and female athletes in three classifications. Parabadminton World Federation Rules govern IDAF badminton competition, with these exceptions:

  • A side-arm serve is permitted as a disability accommodation if prior approval is obtained from the tournament referee
  • Players may use junior‐sized badminton rackets

Skilled competitors have opportunities to compete in European and World badminton championships.
