Athletes in the Junior A (7‐11), Junior B (12‐15), and Open (any age) age divisions compete in 5-on-5 games. All teams will be mixed-gender. International Basketball Federation (FIBA) rule adaptations include:

  • A regulation size court with 10 ft high hoop is used for the Open and Junior B Divisions; an 8‐ft high hoop is used for the Junior A Division.
  • An international size 6 (women's size) basketball is used in the Open Division; while a size 5 (junior size) basketball is used for the Junior divisions.
  • Open Division games are four 8-minute quarters in duration. Junior Division games are four 6-minute quarters in duration.
  • 10 seconds are allowed to advance the ball into the front court.
  • Offensive players are allowed 5 seconds in the key/paint.

Early round play consists of either round‐robin or double‐elimination games, with the top teams advancing to single‐elimination bracket/knockout games.
